Chuck Haselwood's journey from a small-town ranch in Ellensburg to a popular businessman and neighborhood leader in Bremerton is a testament to his perseverance and business spirit. Birthed in 1923, Chuck's tale started with a vibrant choice to leave behind the farming life and hitchhike to Bremerton, where he began his profession functioning at a gas terminal. His service in World Battle II under General Patton only developed his drive, leading him to enter the secondhand automobile company after returning home. Partnering with Danny Jones, Chuck introduced his own gasoline station and sold vehicles, ultimately forming a long-term collaboration with Bud Higgs to create Chuck & Buds-- a vehicle dealership that focused on customer care, supplying service warranties uncommon at the time.

Chuck's ruthless drive for advancement led him to increase his service past used autos. Chuck's legacy lives on not simply in the autos he sold, but in his deep commitment to his area, which proceeds to grow in Kitsap Area today.
